How to Stretch the Waistline of Your Pants
Do you just need a few more weeks before you go on that big diet? Bought a new pair of non-returnable pants only to get home and realize that they were too small? 1. Gather the materials from the Things You'll Need section.
2. Put the pants on the board. Shape them over the board, fitting them over it as if the board is your waist.
3. Make sure that the pants are close to buttoning. You will probably have to cut the board down to size.
4. Fill up the spray bottle with hot, but not boiling, water.
5. Spray the pants with hot water all along the waist line.
6. Pull on the pants. The waist should give a little.
7. Repeat as many times as it takes to button the pants.
8. Let the pants dry. Then try them on. They should be a little roomier in the waist.
